Taxpayers foot bill for ACC legal battles (Otago Daily Times)
ACC is spending millions on lawyers to defend battles over decisions it has made. ACC spent nearly $3.5 million on legal services over the past year, including $1.4m paid to lawyers to fight reviews of their decisions, The Press newspaper reported today.
